A complete ride, generated for you

More than a static workout.

Duration, intensity, FTP, maximum heart rate and training focus are transformed into a complete indoor cycling session. Warm-up, climbs, sprints, true power pyramids, tempo work and recovery follow a controlled studio-style flow.

01

Individual sessions

Generate balanced, endurance, hill or sprint rides from 20 to 90 minutes.

02

True pyramids

Resistance and cadence rise step by step to a real peak and return symmetrically.

03

Coach when it matters

Four- and eight-count rhythm coaching appears only in selected blocks, leaving space for free riding.

The current application

From course selection to live control.

A focused two-step planner keeps setup and detailed editing separate. During the ride, the course moves from right to left under a fixed NOW marker while live data, current levels and upcoming workload remain visible.

Course selection with duration, intensity, focus, FTP, maximum heart rate and offline mode
01
Choose the ride

Set the course profile or launch one of the guided system and calibration tests.

Course details with compact block editor, coach markers and power profile
02
Review every block

Edit time, power and cadence in a compact six-row view and see each change in the profile.

Live training with moving course, live value balls, trends and timeline controls
03
Ride with live context

Current values, averaged trends, moving blocks, coach cues and timeline controls stay aligned.

Safe FTMS control

The trainer responds to the rider.

Power, heart rate and cadence feed a guarded adaptive controller. Changes remain gradual, low cadence reduces ERG load, stale sensors cannot increase resistance and explicit limits always apply.

  • Acknowledged and serialized Bluetooth FTMS commands
  • Heart-rate and cadence-aware ERG targets
  • Reliable pause, resume, emergency stop and reset
  • Manual disconnect with confirmation
  • Automatic trainer and chest-strap disconnect after the ride

Understand the effort

See what the ride is doing.

Power, heart rate and cadence are averaged into ten-second windows and positioned inside the correct training blocks. Colored live balls move vertically on the NOW axis while historical lines grow to the left.

Personal baselines

Measure first.
Train with purpose.

FTP

Progressive ramp test

Estimates FTP without requiring a known starting value and applies the result directly to the profile.

HR

Heart-rate calibration

A progressive, safety-led field test reports the observed peak heart rate and practical next steps.

Complete feature set

Everything for a personal studio ride.

Planning, editing, smart-trainer control, live coaching, analytics, recovery and export in one local-first application.

01

Course planning and editing

20–90 minute rides

Duration in five-minute increments.

Intensity and focus

Easy, sporty or demanding; balanced, hills, sprints or endurance.

Two-step workflow

Separate course selection from detailed planning.

Compact block editor

Edit seconds, target watts and RPM in a six-row scrolling view.

Stable centered selection

60% threshold and snapping synchronize row and profile segment.

Visual block operations

Add a highlighted block after the selection, move it or remove it.

Guaranteed remix

Create a different sequence while retaining the personal profile.

Local course library

Save and reload custom courses.

02

Bluetooth and trainer control

Wahoo KICKR via FTMS

Bluetooth connection and ERG control.

Bluetooth chest strap

Independent live heart-rate input.

Adaptive resistance

Gradual power adjustments from heart rate and cadence.

Visible HR adjustments

Large three-second overlay for every heart-rate-driven change.

Connection watchdog

Stale-data detection and controlled reconnection.

Manual disconnect

Disconnect either device after confirmation.

Clean shutdown

Stop notifications, reset control and disconnect both devices.

Offline mode

Use simulated sensors when no Bluetooth connection is present.

03

Live ride and navigation

Moving course profile

The ride moves right to left under a fixed NOW marker.

Values inside each block

Name, power and cadence remain visible in the profile.

Ten-second trend windows

Average live measurements at their exact course position.

Live value balls

Power, heart-rate and cadence markers move on the NOW axis.

Touch timeline seeking

Click, drag or touch the progress bar to jump anywhere.

Fine and block navigation

Move ±30 seconds or one complete block.

Continuous recording

Seeking never interrupts sensor or Garmin recording.

Transition countdown

Preview the next block, targets and coaching state ten seconds early.

04

Coaching, rhythm and audio

Occasional coach phases

Guidance is distributed across selected blocks.

Free riding phases

Follow power and cadence independently between coached sections.

Four- and eight-count rhythm

Phrase-aware studio cues and changes on the next count one.

Adaptive cycling beat

Tempo and sound style follow each block.

One-touch audio

Music stays synchronized with pause, resume and transitions.

Technique cues

Guidance for posture, pressure, breathing and recovery.

05

Tests, reports and Garmin

12-minute system test

Validate sensors, trainer response, pause and shutdown.

FTP ramp test

Estimate FTP from the best completed minute.

Heart-rate calibration

Review observed peak heart rate and next steps.

Post-ride report

Averages, peaks, zones, blocks and target adherence.

Garmin TCX export

Timestamps, laps, power, cadence and heart rate.

Apply test results

Transfer FTP or maximum heart rate into the profile.

06

Safety and continuity

Zwift Click V2

Map the wireless buttons to essential ride controls.

Local ride history

IndexedDB stores activities on the device with a migration fallback.

Configurable limits

Maximum power, adjustment step and minimum cadence.

Emergency stop

Reduce load, end safely and disconnect devices.

Ride recovery

Restore samples and the independently shifted course position.

Live system status

Training state, connections, sensor age and ERG target.

A Joitec system built for real movement

Technology stays in the background so the ride can stay in focus.
